Katarzyna Grygier Born: Poland (1990), now from Nottingham UK.
“I work in acrylics, mixed media and oils. Use of the strong knife and brush strokes with thick black paint and accents of colours reflect the changing energy of the space and the moment.
In my works I want to take the viewer into the vision of the private “room” making the viewer to connect with the space and feel the energy of the paint and form, allowing their interpretation to build their own story of the view.”

Kat is one of the most prolific artists we work with, producing large dynamic images, that work equally well individually or in a series (if your wall is big enough!).   We love her style and her confident brush strokes – hence the number of her paintings in the collection.
